The Founder of Inatrex, LLC - Timothy W. Davis

A native of South Central Indiana, Timothy W. Davis has been a member of the IT community for 20 years. Certified by Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Citrix and CompTIA, Davis has focused the second half of his time in the industry helping to ensure that small businesses are able to compete in today’s global, corporate and conglomerate society.

With a special interest in the medical industry, Davis relishes being able to adapt a business’ current systems in order to create the maximum productivity for the least amount of outlay and inconvenience on behalf of the company. These “Digital Solutions for a Digital Society” allow Davis to utilize his two decades of experience and still provide the small town touch that comes with using a locally owned and operated business.

Born in Indianapolis, Davis spent his formative years watching the computer evolve from a room-sized device to something small enough fit in your pocket. Davis moved to Southern Indiana in his junior year of high school and, after graduation, joined the United States Navy. After completing Boot Camp at the Great Lakes Naval Station, Davis attended advanced electronics and computer schools to become a computer technician on the Terrier missile system, which was, at the time, the Navy’s advanced surface-to-air missile platform. He continued in this position aboard the USS Gridley during operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Southern Watch.

After completing his active duty assignment, Davis returned to civilian life where he served as a network engineer for a variety of companies around the country. Deciding to settle down, Davis returned to Indianapolis and formed his first IT company, helping small businesses with their IT needs.

In 2005, Davis relocated to the Bloomington, IN area and today supports companies from Central and Southern Indiana.
